We are happy to announce our new "book review" section of the website.   We will be offering reviews, or related articles of books related to speech, language, or education. 

Our spotlight is on the book "The Global Achievement Gap", written by Tony Wagner.   "Tony is the co director of the Change Leadership Group at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.  His most recent book 'The Global Achievement Gap: Why even our Best Schools Don't Teach the New Survival Skills Our Kids Need-- And What We Can Do About It'  has just been published by Basic Books.  Tony can be reached through his website www.schoolchange.org."  This book is an interesting evaluation of our current educational system in the U.S and around the globe. It offers practical suggestions for educators and parents for improving our children's education and necessary skills in relation to the present and future job market.
